TMTL was established in July 2005, when TAFE acquired part of Eicher Motors Ltd. which included the tractor unit in Bhopal, gears and transmission unit in Parwanoo, and engine unit in Alwar. TAFE also acquired the right to use the Eicher Engine brand name for its existing products. Since then, with the help of our pioneering R&D department and our technology partners Ricardo Engines and AVL from UK andSisu Diesel and Valtra of Finland, TMTL Engines Division has broadened its range of gensets from 5 kVA to 125 kVA.
The 62.5 kVA to 125 kVA is our water cooled range and is sold under the TMTL Engines brand under the TMTL Engines Division umbrella. In this range, all the gensets are turbo charged with after cooler leading tosuperior fuel efficiency. All engines have A1 governing except the 125 kVAgenset, which has the upgradedIsochronousgoverning.These engines havethe highest moment of inertia owing to the heavy flywheel ensuring the best quality of power and zero flickering. The latest example of our engineering excellence is our flagship 125 kVA gensetwhich is a technological marvel. Up to 125 kVA range, TMTL is the only genset company which has developed CRDI technology, in-house. It also boasts, 4 valves per cylinder, fuel pre-filter with water separator, charging alternator with vacuum pump, turbo charged intercooler aspiration, independent electronic control on injection pressure - injection begin and injection quantity, isochronous governor and much more.
